As part of our 9th Anniversary Weekend, we’re opening up something we’ve never done before—an exclusive, one-night-only deconstructed barrel tasting experience that pulls back the curtain on how one of our most complex beers is built.
This guided experience is led by Denton County Brewing Co. owner, Seth Morgan, and Andrew Truemper, our Executive Brewer.
Joining us we have special guest Jonathan Likarish, Lead Distiller of Ironroot Republic Distilling. We are also joined by Andrew Tullis and winemaker Kristi Abrahamson-Tullis of Lonesome Vine, the husband-and-wife team behind the Tempranillo featured in this experience.
Both the wine and whiskey are crafted by independent North Texas producers, making this a true celebration of local craftsmanship. One barrel, aging three products is truly unique and we're excited to show you how each element has shaped the final beer.
1. At the center of the experience is a Barrel-Aged Doppelbock, developed in a American and French oak barrel that first held whiskey and then a 2023 Tempranillo through 2025, creating a uniquely layered final beer.
Rather than simply tasting the finished product, guests will experience the full deconstruction:
2. After the main feature, there will be Two-Three additional rare tastings poured straight from the barrel
3. The tasting is complemented by light food fare and a specially curated amuse-bouche bite by Chef Suzanne Johnson of The Chestnut Tree to thoughtfully pair with the Barrel-Aged Doppelbock deconstruction.
This is a cocktail-style experience with limited availability, featuring a special edition keepsake shot glass and 9th Anniversary T-shirt, and a focus on storytelling, craftsmanship, and connection—the kind of experience that defines who we are as a brewery.
$125 per person(all guests must be aged 21+)

Ticket Policy
Tickets are non-refundable. If you’re unable to attend, tickets may be transferred to another guest with advance notice prior to the event.
